Christian financial coaching is money coaching built on faith. You still learn budgeting, debt payoff, credit, and long term planning, but the plan is shaped by biblical stewardship and your family’s values. It’s the heart of what I do through the Finance Geek Ministry.
I’ll be upfront. The center of my business is faith based, and I have no shame in that. My mission is to help families, and especially moms, master their personal finances so they can build kingdoms of their own. So let me explain what this kind of coaching looks like and why some families choose it.
What Christian financial coaching is
The tools are the same ones any good coach uses. We look at your income, expenses, debt, and credit. We build a plan to get you out of debt, grow your savings, and protect your family.
The difference is the lens. Money isn’t treated as the goal. It’s treated as something you’ve been trusted to manage well. That changes the conversation. We talk about generosity alongside debt payoff. We talk about legacy as much as net worth. And we make decisions with your faith in the room instead of leaving it outside the door.

Why some families choose it
- They want a coach who shares their values and won’t treat giving as a line item to cut.
- They’re thinking about the next generation, and they want a plan that leaves something lasting for their children.
- They want accountability from someone who understands both the numbers and the spiritual side of money.
- They’ve tried budgeting alone and want structure with encouragement behind it.
A lot of my clients are moms who go to church and bring their kids. Many are carrying the family finances on their own. They don’t need a lecture. They need a plan that fits their life and someone in their corner while they work it.

What it isn’t
Christian financial coaching isn’t a promise that faith will make money appear. You still have to spend less than you earn, pay down debt, and stick to the plan.
It’s also not about guilt. Plenty of Christians carry shame about debt or past money mistakes. Coaching is where we set that down and start building from where you are today, one step at a time.
It also isn’t a replacement for licensed tax, legal, or accounting advice. I teach financial concepts and help you build a game plan. When you need a tax professional or an attorney, I’ll point you there.

What working together looks like
In a one-on-one session, we put together a financial game plan with clear action steps. You get an email review of the call, and we follow up to make sure the steps are getting done. For families who want longer support, I offer a year of coaching with a minimum of eight calls. Depending on your situation, we may use strategies like Velocity Banking to attack debt or Infinite Banking to build long term liquidity.
If you’re looking for a financial coach in Fort Lauderdale, or you’d rather work together remotely from anywhere in the US, you can read more about me and my story. You can also hear more of my teaching on the podcast.
Is it right for your family?
If your faith shapes the rest of your life, it makes sense for it to shape your money too. That doesn’t mean every decision gets easier. It means you’re making them with the same values you teach your kids. And when the debt is gone and the savings are growing, you’ll have more room to give, more room to help others, and more to pass down.

Book a Coaching SessionFrequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be a Christian to work with a Christian financial coach?
No. The coaching is built on biblical stewardship, but anyone who’s comfortable with that approach is welcome. The financial strategies work the same either way.
Will a Christian financial coach tell me how much to tithe?
A good coach will help you build giving into your plan, but the decision about how much to give is yours.
Is Christian financial coaching only for people in debt?
No. Families come to me to get out of debt, but also to build savings, plan for their children’s future, and set up long term strategies.
